Foundations course

Students may be required to take a 3 credit hour Foundations course based on a holistic review of the application and supporting documents with special consideration of undergraduate major, GPA, and relevant work experience. Students will be notified of their course sequence at the time of admission.

Transcripts

Please submit official transcripts from the college/university in which a bachelor's, master's or doctoral degree from an accredited institution was obtained.

  • Applicants who have graduated from SUU do not need to submit a transcript
  • International transcripts must include a transcript evaluation from a third-party service such as SpanTran or WES showing that the degree is equivalent to a U.S. bachelor's degree

This course examines the principles of organizational behavior involved in managing people and organizations in a business environment. Topics include leadership, motivation, effective teams, conflict and negotiations, power and influence, organizational culture, and change management. This course focuses on the practical application of these principles in a meaningful and ethical manner. **FIXED FIRST COURSE for all MBA STUDENTS unless you are required to take BA 6000. If BA 6000 is required, you will receive a course sequence from your academic advisor. In this course, students explore project management with an applied approach through case studies, simulations, and class exercises. Special attention is given to understanding and utilizing project management software in the successful management of projects.
