Students will be notified of their course sequence at the time of admission.

  • Applicants who have graduated from SUU do not need to submit a transcript
  • International transcripts must include a transcript evaluation from a third-party service such as SpanTran or WES showing that the degree is equivalent to a U.S. bachelor's degree

Students may be eligible to waive a 3 credit hour Business Foundations course in the first term based on a holistic review of their application and supporting documents with special consideration of undergraduate major, GPA and relevant work experience. Students will be notified of their course sequence at the time of admission.

This accelerated and condensed course covers the essential concepts of Business Statistics, Microsoft Excel, Financial and Managerial Accounting and Corporate Finance that are necessary for success in subsequent graduate level business administration courses.

ANLY 6100 is a prerequsite for ANLY 6110 and ANLY 6200.  Courses should be taken in the order listed below for the shortest program completion time.

An introduction to data science methods in business, finance, and economics. Includes an introduction to an appropriate programming language for data manipulation and modeling. Provides an overview of descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive methods in data analytics. Prerequisite(s): MATH 1040 and (MATH 1100 or MATH 1210 or ECON 2500) - Prerequisite Min. Grade: D-
Duration: 7 Weeks weeks
Credit Hours: 3
A continuation of ANLY 6100. Covers the primary analytic techniques involved in data mining, including logistic regression, decision trees, kNN, naive Bayes, and others. Introduces unsupervised learning methods. Builds on the programming skills established in ANLY 6100. Prerequisite(s): ANLY 6100 - Prerequisite Min. Grade: C-
Duration: 7 Weeks weeks
Credit Hours: 3
This course covers prevalent methods and tools for data processing and visualization. Students are introduced to both the Python and R programming languages for processing, analyzing, and visualizing data. In addition, the course includes an overview of the Tableau software for data visualization. Course emphasis is on mastering basic software functionality and developing intermediate to advanced skills in working with and presenting data.
