Admission Requirements

Foundations course

Students may be required to take a 3 credit hour Foundations course based on a holistic review of the application and supporting documents with special consideration of undergraduate major, GPA and relevant work experience. Students will be notified of their course sequence at the time of admission.

Transcripts

Please submit official transcripts from the college/university in which a bachelor's, master's or doctoral degree from an accredited institution was obtained.

  • Transcript Assist - We can help you obtain your transcript at no cost! Simply give us permission by filling out the Transcript Assist form in your application. Once your application is submitted, we’ll request your transcript and notify you when it arrives. Please note that we only request the transcript for your highest earned degree. We can obtain transcripts from institutions that are part of the Parchment or National Student Clearinghouse networks, which includes most schools. Get to know the online human resource management MBA program curriculum

For the MBA – Human Resource Management online program, you must complete 24 credit hours of core courses, including a capstone strategy course, and 9 credit hours of emphasis courses. Students may be required to take the 3 credit hour Business Foundations course in the first term based on a holistic review of the application and supporting documents with special consideration of undergraduate major, GPA and relevant work experience. Students will be notified of their course sequence at the time of admission.

This accelerated and condensed course covers the essential concepts of Business Statistics, Microsoft Excel, Financial and Managerial Accounting and Corporate Finance that are necessary for success in subsequent graduate level business administration courses.

This course examines the principles of organizational behavior involved in managing people and organizations in a business environment. Topics include leadership, motivation, effective teams, conflict and negotiations, power and influence, organizational culture, and change management. This course focuses on the practical application of these principles in a meaningful and ethical manner. **FIXED FIRST COURSE for all MBA STUDENTS unless you are required to take BA 6000. If BA 6000 is required, you will receive a course sequence from your academic advisor. This fixed-first does not apply to students in Nursing programs, MSN/MBA dual degree program, or the MS in Cybersecurity with Information Assurance - Management program.**

The management of operations and supply chain, including such topics as competitive strategy, product and service design, quality management, process improvements, supply chain management, work design management, logistics, and selected areas of operations research.
